SECTION 350.1421. Insurance Premiums

Latest version.

The policyholder is responsible for paying health care premiums based on their individual policy. The contractor includes insurance premiums when calculating the family's allowable deductions, but insurance premiums do not count toward meeting the maximum charge. Neither HHSC nor the contractor pays the family's private insurance premium.
