SECTION 350.1016. Planning for Services to be Delivered with the Routine Caregiver

  • (a) If delivering services with the participation of the routine caregiver in the absence of the parent is necessary, the IFSP team must:

    (1) document the names of the routine caregivers in the child's record;

    (2) obtain written parental consent before releasing personally identifiable information to the routine caregiver; and

    (3) obtain written authorization from the parent to provide early childhood intervention services with the routine caregiver.

    (b) A member of the IFSP team must contact the parent face-to-face or by telephone at least once every month to provide an update on services provided with a routine caregiver.
