SECTION 261.247. Re-administration of the ICAP

(a) A program provider must re-administer the ICAP to an individual if: (1) three years have elapsed since the ICAP was last administered to the individual; (2) changes in the individual's functional skills or behavior occur that are not expected to be of a short duration or cyclical in nature; or (3) the individual's skills and behavior are inconsistent with the individual's LON. (b) If the results from the ICAP indicate that the individual's LON is no longer accurate, a program provider must request a revision to the LON in accordance with §419.246(b) of this title (relating to Renewal and Revision of Level of Need).
