SECTION 260.511. Including Individualized Skills and Socialization on an IPC

A program provider must ensure that:
(1) a case manager includes individualized skills and socialization on an individual's enrollment IPC in accordance with the rules governing the DBMD Program; (2) a case manager renews or revises an IPC to include individualized skills and socialization in accordance with the rules governing the DBMD Program; (3) a case manager ensures that: (A) an enrollment IPC or renewal IPC with an effective date on or after March 1, 2023 does not include day habilitation; and (B) an IPC that is revised during the period of March 1, 2023 through February 29, 2024 includes only the amount of day habilitation that the program provider provided to the individual before March 1, 2023; and (4) if an individual or the individual's LAR wants the individual to receive on-site or off-site individualized skills and socialization but not both, the case manager documents the decision in the individual's IPP.
