SECTION 137.46. Physician Consultant Procedures

(a) A center shall adopt, implement, and enforce written procedures for consultation with physicians for clients who develop medical complications. (b) A physician consultant shall be a Texas licensed physician, preferably who practices obstetrics and/or pediatrics, and who is readily available by telephone or who is able to be present in the center or hospital to deliver emergency care.
