SECTION 1.64. Surrender of Registration

(a) An Architect may voluntarily surrender his/her registration by submitting to the Board a written notice of the voluntary surrender that has been signed by the Architect. The voluntary surrender of a registration shall invalidate the registration. A registration that has been voluntarily surrendered may be reinstated in the manner described in Section 1.66. (b) Upon receipt of written notice from the Board requiring the surrender of a certificate of registration that has been suspended or revoked pursuant to the Rules and Regulations of the Board, an Architect or former Architect shall immediately surrender his/her certificate of registration in the manner prescribed in the notice.
