SECTION 93.102. Certificate

When an application has been found to comply with Chapter 16 of the Business & Commerce Code, a certificate will be issued. The certificate will be under the signature and official seal of the Secretary of State and will include:
(1) the name and business address of the person claiming ownership of the mark; (2) the applicant's organizational form and state of formation, if applicant is organized as an entity; (3) the names of the general partners, if applicant is organized as a partnership; (4) a description of any word element of the mark; (5) a color claim and color location statement, if any; (6) a description of the goods and/or services on or in connection with which the mark is being used; (7) a statement of each class of goods and/or services in which the mark is registered; (8) for each class, the date claimed for the first use of the mark anywhere; (9) for each class, the date claimed for the first use of the mark in Texas; (10) a black and white reproduction of the mark; (11) the registration date; and (12) the term of the registration.
