SECTION 91.34. Calculation of Dates

We compute dates related to rulemaking submissions according to the Government Code, §311.014, concerning Computation of Time.
(1) In computing a period of days, the first day, such as the date of publication or date of filing, is excluded and the last day is included. (2) If a number of months is to be computed by counting the months from a particular day, the period ends on the same numerical day in the concluding month as the numerical day of the earlier date. If there are not as many days in the concluding month as in the beginning month, the period ends on the last day of the concluding month.
