SECTION 60.301. Resolution

(a) The resolution permits the applicant to submit an application. Unless otherwise directed by the RFA or the Application Kit, the resolution must be submitted at the same time the grant application is submitted by the applicant. (b) The specific requirements for the resolution will be stated in the Application Kit. (c) A resolution from the applicable governing body (such as the City Council, County Commissioners' Court, or Board of Directors) must contain, at a minimum, the following: (1) authorization for the submission of the grant application to the OAG; and (2) a designation of the name or title of an authorized official who is given the power to apply for, accept, reject, alter, or terminate a grant on behalf of the grantee.
