SECTION 386.106. What is Other Needs Assistance (ONA)?

ONA provides grants to disaster victims who have serious disaster-related needs and necessary expenses in the following categories:
(1) personal property, such as repair or replacement of: (A) furniture; (B) appliances; (C) clothing; and (D) medical personal property; (2) transportation, such as repair or replacement of privately owned vehicles; (3) medical and dental expenses incurred due to disaster-related injuries; (4) funeral expenses incurred due to a disaster-related death; (5) moving and storage expenses to avoid additional disaster damage to personal property; and (6) other disaster-related expenses, such as the purchase of a Group Flood Insurance Policy.
