SECTION 357.538. Notification of Hearing Decision and the Effect on Remaining Household Members

(a) The hearing officer notifies the household member of his decision in writing. (b) Within 15 calendar days of a hearing officer's written decision to disqualify the household member, the Texas Department of Human Services' (DHS's) Central Disqualification Unit notifies the household member of the effect of the hearing officer's decision. In dismissed or nondetermination of intentional program violation cases, the hearing decision is the final notification sent to the household member. If the hearing officer dismisses the case, he sends copies of the decision to the investigator only.
