SECTION 354.1171. Use of Drugs or Devices to Prevent Implantation of the Fertilized Ovum

  • The use of drugs or devices to prevent implantation of the fertilized ovum is not considered an abortion procedure and will be paid for by the Medicaid Program as long as treatment occurs before the fact of pregnancy is established, including the prompt treatment of rape or incest victims.
