SECTION 34.17. Satisfaction of Presence Requirement by Entity

An entity may satisfy the presence requirement in Government Code, §305.006(f) and §305.024(a)(7), by the presence of:
(1) an individual registrant who represents the entity; or (2) a person whose position, authority, or conduct on behalf of the entity could support an award of exemplary damages against the entity. Source Note: The provisions of this §34.17 adopted to be effective December 18, 1996, 21 TexReg 11819.
