SECTION 209.12. Security Requirements for Open Meetings Held by Videoconference

(a) Each governmental body subject to the Open Meetings Act shall review and comply with any additional internal security requirements of their governmental body that may apply to a meeting held by videoconference. (b) If 1 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 202 applies to the governmental body, then the governmental body shall ensure compliance with any information security standards promulgated regarding the transmission of data through a public or data/IP network.
