SECTION 160.11. Sick Leave Pool

(a) A sick leave pool is established to alleviate hardship caused to an employee and the employee's immediate family if a catastrophic injury or illness forces the employee to exhaust all eligible leave time earned by that employee and to lose compensation time from the state. (b) The Human Resources Manager for the State Office of Administrative Hearings is designated as the pool administrator. (c) The pool administrator shall develop and maintain a policy, operating procedures, and forms, as necessary, for the administration of the sick leave pool subject to approval by the Chief Administrative Law Judge. (d) Operation of the sick leave pool shall be consistent with Texas Government Code, Chapter 661. Source Note: The provisions of this §160.11 adopted to be effective February 23, 2022, 47 TexReg 767
