SECTION 8.124. Compensation of a Conservator

(a) A conservator appointed by the Governor to act in this capacity is entitled to receive a salary for performing those duties that is equal to the salary of the chief administrative office of the public community college under conservatorship, as well as reimbursement of other reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by the conservator. (b) The public community college under conservatorship shall pay the salary and other reasonable and necessary expenses of the conservator from money appropriated or otherwise available to the institution, except to the extent that money to pay the salary is specifically appropriated or made available through the budget execution process for that purpose.
