SECTION 22.673. Loan Interest

(a) The interest rate on loans shall be determined by the Commissioner and shall be a fixed simple interest rate. (b) Interest begins to accrue as of the date the grant becomes a loan, or the date the certification program was completed, whichever is earlier. (c) Interest does not accrue during periods of eligible teaching.
