(a) Proposals for the technology program shall be evaluated on the basis of merit and soundness of the proposal, capability of the investigator, student involvement and research training opportunities, and adequacy of institutional commitment and resources. (b) Prospects for leveraged funds and technology transfer may be considered when evaluating proposals for the technology program. (c) The Coordinating Board and the Advisory Committee may delete or add any relevant criteria for evaluating the proposals for the technology program.
