SECTION 76.1. Purpose of Rules

To provide procedural and substantive requirements for licensing, complaint procedures, continuing education, and technical standards for well drillers and pump installers, and to ensure the quality of the State's groundwater for the safety and welfare of the public under the Texas Occupations Code, Chapters 1901 and 1902.
