SECTION 75.27. Technician Registration Requirements--Initial Application

(a) To obtain a technician registration, an applicant must: (1) submit a completed application on a department-approved form; and (2) submit the required fee. (b) The term of an air conditioning and refrigeration technician's registration is one year. (c) A registration is not transferable. (d) An applicant for registration as an air conditioning and refrigeration technician will be issued a temporary registration that is valid for 21 days if the applicant: (1) has not been convicted of a criminal offense, or been placed on deferred adjudication; and (2) pays the required fee.
