SECTION 315.207. Leaving the Course

(a) If a greyhound bolts the course, runs in the opposite direction, or does not run the entire prescribed distance for the race, the greyhound forfeits all rights in the race. The racing judges shall determine the official finish of the race as if the greyhound was not racing. (b) Notwithstanding this section, a greyhound that bolts the course, runs in the opposite direction, or does not run the entire prescribed distance for the race is considered a starter.
