SECTION 313.443. Action by Jockeys

(a) A jockey may not ride carelessly or willfully so as to permit the mount to interfere with or impede another horse in the race. (b) A jockey may not willfully strike or attempt to strike another horse or jockey so as to impede, interfere with, intimidate or injure the other horse or jockey. (c) A jockey may not exchange whips during the running of a race. (d) A jockey who acts in violation of this section is subject to discipline by the stewards and the jockey's mount may be disqualified.
