SECTION 11.25. State Employee Family Leave Pool

A state employee family leave pool is established to provide eligible employees more flexibility in bonding and caring for children during a child's first year following birth, adoption, or foster placement, and caring for a seriously ill family member or the employee, including pandemic-related illnesses or complications caused by a pandemic.
(1) The commission's Executive Director shall designate a pool administrator. (2) The pool administrator will recommend a policy, operating procedures, and forms for the administration of this section for approval by the Executive Director. (3) Operation of the pool shall be consistent with Texas Government Code, Chapter 661, Subchapter A-1. State Employee Family Leave Pool.
